CsI(Tl) 2-dimensional array example

Examples of CsI(Tl) 2-D array by Proteus. Photograph shows 3025 pixels array (55 x 55 elements) of 1 mm cubic crystals for ORNL project. Crystal thickness is determined to detect 135-iodine isotope low energy gamma ray (approx 30keV). Each crystal cells light output is read by position sensitive PhotoMultiplier Tube.
